It is almost Halloween, which is the Christian tradition of remembering the dead including loved ones, saints and martyrs. All over the world, there are many different traditions of remembering people who have passed away and it is usually a yearly tradition that is observed and has become a big part of many cultures. Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead is celebrated throughout Latin America and the Carribean. Yes, it is a celebration held from November 1 to November 2 of every year. This is what makes their tradition of remembering the dead unique. Day of the Dead is believed to be a day when the dead’s soul would visit their families on Earth.
